PreSeason Rankings

So ESPN writer Mark Schlabach does a verrry early preseason college football rankings. The latest came out this past weekend. He has our Hokies ranked # 5 in the country, up from the # 9 ranking last month. He redid these rankings after analyzing spring practices and spring games. Our first foe next season, Alabama, is now ranked 8th. As much as I love our Hokies, I do not think they deserve to be ranked this high in the preseason. I feel like there are still a lot of question marks with the defensive line and also with Tyrod Taylor. I hope that he is throwing 100 passes a day this summer in order to improve his passing skills. I just don't want this to be too much hype for the still-developing team to live up to.
